Whoops. Sorry. But I was under the impression that if you have the potential, you can choose to be a jedi...

Something wasn't right. True she was more paranoid than perhaps nessecary, but something was just wrong. Deciding not to trust her instincts she turned away and decided to get some rest. That would be nice, sleep was something she was rapidly losing more and more of.

Then she heard the soft thud of foot falls. Not heavy enough to be that of the Guarlara's she turned around and slipped into the shadows. She flitted in and out of the thick cover of shade, trying not to be seen, though she knowing she would be succesful. It was one of the things she found herself having a natural talent for, she could disappear easily when she needed to.

Upon coming to the edge of the trees, where the shadows met the sun, she peered into the space stretching before her. What was this Wookiee trying to hide, and why? Normally she knew it was best to leave a Wookiee to its own devices, but this was one adventure she was either going to need to stop, or join.

She spotted a Trandoshan leaping onto the back of a Guarlara. It was graceful, and well planned move. She winced as the the creature tried in vain to gain it's freedom. She always did have a soft spot for those being hunted.

She darted into the middle of the operation, simoultaniouly whipping out a blaster and her lightsaber. She was almost posative they would hear the slight noise as the blade extended. To be safe, Vivian placed a finger on the trigger of her blaster, ready to fire if she needed to, though she would much rather keep this betwwen the three of them. The noise of a blaster was sure to draw attention to them.

Her mind raced. This was a stupid fight to pick. Both the Wookie and the Trandoshan seemed to be agile fighters. If nothing else thier species suggested at least a challenge, though it was not hard to tell, should a fight ocour, it would not be easily won. In fact, losing was not impossible, but rather an option best pushed to the back of the mind. She waited, every muscle in her body tense, for them to make the next move.

Draksk was out wandering the city by himself. There was something wrong with their ship, and since the Trandoshan had absolutely no sense when it came to repairing things, Isshurra had sent him off to scout the area, maybe have a little fun.

Draksk had visited the cantina, but it was nearly empty, no one interesting sulking in the shadows, so he had left. And now he walked slowly, gazing about himself, because he had just realized... he was lost. Now, Draksk didn't get lost easily, it was a rare occasion-especially on Nar Shaddaa. But now he couldn't recognize his surroundings, he knew he was somewhere in the Red Sector, but... where?

He spotted a little girl, probably almost in her teens though she looked skinny and frail, walking down the street. She looked at home in this place, like she knew her way around, he could ask her for directions. It was either he ask her or ask the large, angry looking Devaronian a few meters off.

Draksk wasn't in for a fight, so he walked up to the girl and bent down a bit to make himself seem smaller than he really was, "Hello, child." he hissed slowly, "Might I have your name?" the young Trandoshan asked. He figured it would be best to be quiet and polite first, since the girl looked like she would take off running at any second. "I'm Draksk." he put a large, clawed hand to his chest to motion to himself.

It screams and you scream back..

The dreary streets of Nar Shaddaa were teeming with life. Life that bespoke desperation, hatred, greed. There were a few bodies, dead in the alleyways, killed by their own inability to procur money for the various Exchange bosses.

Yes, Nar Shaddaa was a harsh place, in which only the powerful and ruthless survived. The rich aliens prospered while the poor humans suffered. And yet, there was a certain hum about the place. Almost unseen, unheard, and yet it thrummed away, offering hope to those who stopped to hear it.

It was the hope of a better place. Not here, on this deadly planet, but offworld. Hardly any listened to the thrum of life. Hardly any listened to anything anymore.

Charley was no different. Her once beautiful green eyes were dull, lifeless, nearly gray with despair. Where once had been wide-eyed innocence was now roiling hatred and blank subservience. What should have been a giggling, playful, happy thirteen year-old was instead a quiet, pained, malevolent, and suffering slave.

As she trudged through the pallid gray streets, her head hanging with her greasy brown hair falling into her face, Charley's mind was empty. Rather, her heart was empty. The void-filled pit screamed revenge to those who had made her the way she was now. But still she did nothing. Said nothing.

And forever she would stay this way.

Alright, this is cool Herman, there's only one little problem. People don't choose to be Jedi, so maybe alter the part in his history where it says 'Shane decided to become a Jedi at a young age' to something along the lines of 'Shane became a Jei at a young age' or 'Shane was taken in by the Jedi at a young age'

:3 And once you do that, Shane'll be accepted ^-^

Isshurra paused, making sure the Jedi had left, and pulled out his clarion again, blowing one long, low note into it. Plans were reverting back to normal. The Guarlaras shifted nervously, casting their large-eyed gazes in the wookiee's direction as the horn sounded. They were getting antsy, Isshurra could feel it in his warrior blood. The time was soon.

The large wookiee stood in wait for nearly half an hour longer, to be sure they didn't have any more unexpected visitors, then he moved, dashing out into the clearing, waving his furry arms and snarling fiercely. (Teehee, the image that put in my head was funny ^-^) The large black beasts snorted, startled, and took off, their large, hoof-like feet pounding the earth as they ran.

Draksk looked up at the clarion's call, and while Isshurra waited for the opportune time, his Trandoshan companion shifted impatiently. He was sick of waiting. And so, when his friend leapt from the cover of the trees and scared the horse-like creatures towards him, he nearly shouted in exultations (sp?). The plan was going perfectly, the creatures were getting nearer and nearer by the second....

And finally, Draksk took a bounding leap from the branch of his tree and landed almost perfectly on the back of the largest Guarlara. The creature let out a roar of fear and reared up, but Draksk already had a rope around it's neck and tied to his belt, and he clung on like a flea to a Shaak. As the others of it's kind pounded by, ignoring his snorting, grunting pleas for help, the Guarlara finally gave up and calmed slightly.

The Trandoshan hunter whirled another rope in his hand and threw it as hard as he could, hissing in triumph as it snagged around another Guarlara's neck. The creature fought back a bit before stopping it's thrashing and standing, panting from exhaustion, next to it's larger herd-mate. Things were going perfectly. Isshurra was getting closer, and soon they'd be off to hunt Wooly Veermoks, the most feared predators of Naboo.

((I finally replied!! Yay!!))

 Shane
« Result #7 on Jul 6, 2007, 1:27pm »

Name: Shane

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Specie: Human

Class: Ex Jedi Knight

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Blue

Appearance: Shane is tall, just over 6'3" and very muscualr. His strength shows in the way he moves and handles his weapons.
His hair is blonde and long, often falling into his blue eyes. His knowledge of his looks makes him seem more arrogant as he swaggers or struts most of the time.
His eyes are the one thing that make hhim seem less stupid. They show the wisdom and emotion in him.

Personality: Shane could very well be considered obnoxious. His arrogance is always the first thing that people notice about him. However there are those who find him charming.
He knows his strength and weaknesses and how to use them to his advantage. Shane was always smart, but he does tend to use his intuition over his head at times, making him not the most diplomatic person.
He is also very emotional, though he tends to try to surpress them. This often leads to outburst, ususally of anger.

Likes: Flying, himself, knowledge, weapons (esp. his lightsaber) and honesty.

Dislikes: Boredom, wasting time, dullness, stupidity.

Strengths: Shane is very intelligent, and a good fighter.

Weaknesses: He sometimes lets his emotions rule over his head, he is also very tempermental.

Powers:
Mind trick:
A very powerful attack for Shane. He could completley control enemies and turn them against thier comrades for up to a half hour, however his concentration is not too hard to break.
Force resistance
Not incredibly powerful, he can only resist the moderate to weak attacks.

History: Shane decided to become a Jedi at a young age. Though he was never the most gifted, he worked hard. Force attacks were hard for him to learn, and though he had the ability to build up attacks, it was hard to master multiple attacks.
He was, however, very good with a lightsaber. He figured out how to attack and block with ease, as well as figuring out easier, quicker ways to strike. He also was very good with hand to hand combat and blasters.
During his time as a Padawan he met Vivian, a future Jedi. Though they never did get along a mutual respect acted as a truce between them.
Eventually he found himself unable to conform to the Jedi way, and in a mixture of dissapointment and anger, he left Coruscant and the Council behind him.
Since then he has spent most of his time wandering the galaxy, at times acting as a bounty hunter. Shane also chose to align himself with both sides, though he has recently began to lean towards the light side, he does have informants from the dark side.

Family: His family currently lives on Naboo.

Other Info: Nope, think I'm good. ^-^

Vivian hated to be laughed at. True, she was one of those girls who looked as if she may faint at any given moment, but she was stronger than she looked. With one last scowel she turned and darted back into the woods.

Several meters along she stepped forward, to the boarder of the woods, to watch the Wookiee. Something told her that it would be better if he didn't see her anymore, though she was beginning to think he wouldn't stop his actions on her account.
((yes! finally spelled it right!!)).

Isshurra was about to let out a bark-like laugh at her comment about killing, but she spoke again. The large wookiee shrugged his bulky shoulders, "Jeedai is wise, then." he commented, referring to her acquiescence to leave. He turned away as dismissal and stood, watching the Guarlaras intently.

Vivan was still unsure of this shadow, and thought seriously abount shooting it. Her aim was good, but without knowing the species, she couldn't be sure she wouldn't actually kill it. She also figured that it would be better not to provoke the Wookie too much. But he did show signs of aquaintence with the figure.
Vivian now safley assumed that this was not her mind and an actual figure.

"Leaving is something I'm not willing to do." She stated, slightly annoyed. "You've put me in the mood to kill things." She paused and stared him in the eye, showing this was not a subject she was willing to leave be. But after a moment she realized that perhaps the best way to read the Wookie would be to watch it from a distance. "But if you wish to be alone, I can move elsewhere." She offered, yet Vivian did not leave. She liked to think of it as her parting act of defiance and waited for him to bid her to leave.
